Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 17
Full red-ruby. Alluring scents of blackberry, blueberry, mocha and underbrush. Dense, sappy and smooth, with its dark berry, game and soil flavors enlivened by spices, crushed rock and a floral element. A bit more salty and clenched on the back end, but the firm, chewy tannins really perk up the taste buds. Offers outstanding long-term potential.
